Kanye West’s Twitter post outrages Jewish community

According to Ben Shapiro, a practicing Orthodox Jew who is also a conservative political commentator, two things can be true at the same time. In this case, Shapiro was referring to the latest tweets by Kanye West regarding powerful Jewish businesses blacklisting him because he doesn’t subscribe to their agenda.

Although Shapiro clearly described Kanye West’s language as “anti-Semitic and disturbing” many Twitter followers could not forgive the first part of his statement and a fury of fire erupted in the comments as they accused Ben of defending an anti-semite and failing to call out hate speech. Even as a Jewish man, it was made clear to Shapiro that he is not the authority on the subject and that the only correct opinion would have been to condemn Kanye West for being a bigot, a menace to society, and to cancel him entirely from social existence.

What did Kanye West say on Twitter?

Kanye West’s exact tweet which was since been deleted said:

“I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I am going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda”

What is “death con 3”?

By writing “death con 3”, it appears that Kanye was referring to the U.S. military term DEFCON. According to Wikipedia, DEFCON prescribes five graduated levels of readiness (or states of alert) for the U.S. military. It increases in severity from DEFCON 5 (least severe) to DEFCON 1 (most severe) to match varying military situations, with DEFCON 1 signalling the outbreak of nuclear warfare.

Kanye’s Twitter post doesn’t make much sense

It is unclear whether Kanye was using “death con 3” as a deliberate play on words to create a perceived threat to Jewish people or if he was unfamiliar with the term DEFCON and thought it was pronounced “death con”. In any case, the threat in his mind was somewhere between readiness and nuclear warfare as per his plan of attack. As usual Kanye wasn’t making much sense, but his post ignited a mixed reaction ranging from rage to apathy and dismissal.

JP Morgan Chase cuts ties with Kanye West

Candace Owens, who is an employee of the Ben Shapiro podcast and a controversial figure herself, shared a letter from JP Morgan Chase ending their relationship with Kanye West with a November deadline to move his billion dollar assets elsewhere. The letter does not state a reason but has led Kanye West and Candace Owens to suspect his Twitter misconduct as the reason for the dismissal of his business.

Jeffrey Epstein and Bernie Madoff banked with JP Morgan

But according to Ben Shapiro, two things can be true at the same time, and skeptics began to wonder that if JP Morgan did in fact end the relationship with Kanye West over a tweet, then what were their reasons for maintaining a relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender famously known for luring children to his private island to share and abuse with his rich and powerful friends?

Was Jeffrey Epstein better connected than Kanye West and did his friendships extend into the banking industry? JP Morgan was also the primary bank of Bernie Madoff, the financier who executed the largest Ponzi Scheme in history, defrauding thousands of investors out of tens of billions of dollars.

White Lives Matter

Kanye is no stranger to outrage and loves to stir up controversy. In a recent appearance at Paris Fashion Week Kanye wore a “White Lives Matter” shirt presumably to point out the hypocrisy between reactions to a black man wearing the slogan versus a white person wearing a “Black Lives Matter” shirt. Surely Kanye must have known that the “White Lives Matter” slogan is seen as a racist message as opposed to “Black Lives Matter” which is seen as progressive move towards equality. The fact that he did it anyway was the fashion statement that could only be trumped by Dior Future-Proof Collection.

Kanye’s new album

Despite being canceled by Twitter, Instagram and JP Morgan Chase, Kanye West remains at the top as an artist and entrepreneur. Kanye West’s new album Donda 2 is only available on his own device – Stem Player, due to Kanye’s refusal to give away most of his profits to mainstream music services.
